For the past two centuries people have been making their homes on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies. Where did they come from? How did they survive and what has become of their legacy? The Canadian Rockies Series, is a collection of stories sharing the history, culture and traditions of Alberta's eastern slopes. The 13-part one-hour documentary series reveals the people who have lived and worked in some of the most remote regions of the Rocky Mountains. This series has been 13-years in the making. The Canadian Rockies Series has been nominated for twenty Alberta Film and Television Rosie Awards over the past seven years. Nominations includes; Best Documentary Series; Best Documentary; Best Cinematographer, Best Director, Best Musical Score and Best Overall Sound.
