The eucalyptus-wooded natural amphitheater of San Francisco's Stern Grove has served as the gorgeous setting for free concert performances since 1938. Philanthropist Rosalie M. Stern donated the 33-acre grove to the city for this purpose, in memory of her late husband, Sigmund Stern. Held every weekend over the summer, the Festival hosts musical and dance performances by celebrated artists from around the globe. "The Stern Grove Festival Videos" feature live performances, pre-concert artist talks, and exclusive backstage interviews with its eclectic mix of artists.
