Karla returns home after a year of study abroad expecting things to be the same. But little does she know a lot has changed. Her dad Karl has a new fiancé and the news comes as a shock to her. With less than six months until the wedding, Karla must learn to accept this change and accept the fact that her soon to be step-mom is now a part of her life.
