Cast Off (2016)

When aspiring actress COLETTE, a bubbly, wide-eyed pageant queen-type from small-town Rhode Island, moves to LA, next door to jaded, bitter former child star SIERRA, their façade of friendship becomes a back-and-forth of one-upmanship, manipulation, and sabotage as they go to absurd lengths to make their acting dreams come true. The LA entertainment world is a hotbed of rising talent vs. an astonishing lack thereof, and sincerity/helpfulness vs. jealousy/backstabbing. Regardless of which categories a person falls into, there's one thing you can count on: you never know what will happen when people will do anything-- not just to get a big break, but also to prevent others from getting theirs.
