Joy Williams (16) dreams of getting out of Spearfish, South Dakota and becoming an artist in New York City. This until her life is disrupted by the discovery of her family's past and her true identity: Rhiannon, a magical fairy-princess from King Arthur's kingdom. Having to decide between fleeing or fighting, Joy embraces her destiny to become the protector of the two dimensions (the realm of Camelot and Earth) and turns into a powerful fairy. Every day with the help of Merlin, the elves and her friends from our world, she will fight evil. In every episode, Joy will get closer to her final objective: freeing Camelot's citizens while fighting maleficent forces plotting her failure. In our world, she will pretend to be a 'normal' girl only to find out that the sorceress' emissaries already dwell among us and are dangerously close.
