Golden Arms once a wanted criminal during the Ching Dynasty who was later caught by deputized officials and was badly injured in a duel to the death and presumed dead he managed to be rescued unknown to him by Shaolin monks he lived within the walls of the Shaolin Temple for twenty years he was later discovered by a renegade priest named Pai Mei who set out to kill Golden Arms and also destroy The Shaolin Temple.
