Rescue 995 (2012)

Shi Hao Ran (Jeanette Aw) and Xu Wen Qian (Yvonne Lim) get acquainted on their first day of work with the ambulance unit after they save a woman suffering from appendicitis and a young man from head injury. Hao Ran's father is a famous cardiologist who hopes for her to be a doctor, but she chooses to work as an ambulance medic. A young Wen Qian witnessed the ambulance crew's relentless effort to save her mother and henceforth aspired to be one. Hao Ran's brother, Zhe Ming (Pierre Png), is a doctor at the emergency unit and likes Wen Qian. Huang Yi Xun (Ping Hui Tay) joins the ambulance unit and sees it as yet another job, incurring the dislike of Hao Ran. She changes her mind when she realizes that he is kindhearted and takes good care of old folks. On a daily basis, the ambulance crew is faced with many cases, while some appreciates their work, others vent their anger on them. This fast-paced drama follows the dedicated ambulance crew about their daily life and witnesses the split-second decisions they have to make to save a life.
