Aspiring gifted equeatrian inner-city African-American Shonda Robinson (Shonda) and best friend Karen Roetruck (Karr) who suffers from Leukemia convince over 2,000 residents of Anacostia D.C. to spend $4 a week apiece in a never seen before D.C. urban syndicate to pay for her decades long training and the purchase of a quality top Grand Prix Olympian Thoroughbred stallion that results in her shattering the glass ceiling and competiting in the 2024 Los Angeles Summer Olympics putting voiceless U.S. people of color on the medal stand beside her.
