Against the Tide (2014)

In the middle of the night a girl escapes her captivity. The police do not obtain information and ask for the help of the psychiatrist Xueqing. Through hypnosis it is revealed that the kidnapper read the girl fragments of a novel by the acclaimed writer Di Shen. Xueqing believes that he is an imitator of Di Shen's novels and asks him to collaborate in the case, but Zhou Jianfeng, the police officer in charge of the case, considers the novelist his main suspect.
