In 2008 journalist/writer Hannes Råstam (1955-2012) confronted the sentenced serial killer Thomas Quick with a very important circumstance. The next morning Quick decided to tell the entire story of "Quick Investigations". This decision meant that Hannes Råstam got full access to a material that no-one had previously seen. Including the medical journals from Säter's mental hospital. We examined the psychiatric treatment and the police investigation that led to the convictions of Sweden's only serial killer.
