Hollywood Babylon 2.0 is a dramatic ensemble series that mixes fictional characters with historical figures in Hollywood's first golden age - the silent film era. Inspired by Kenneth Anger's cult bestseller, Hollywood Babylon uses some of the most infamous Hollywood scandals as plot points to explore the shadowy beginnings of the business. The story, told in a tart contemporary voice, will follow the exploits of a galaxy of characters in a variety of overlapping storylines that explores themes of identity, fame, control, obsession, sexuality, ego, the cost of capitalism and the consequences of fantasy in an all too human world.
