Der eiserne Gustav (1979)

Gustav is the last cab driver with a horse drawn carriage in Berlin in the late 1920s, when motor taxis have taken over. He refuses to retire, and decides to drive his his horse and carriage all the way to Paris and back to show the world what his faithful horse is capable of.
