Juliet Bravo (1980)

Inspector Jean Darblay is assigned to the small Lancashire town of Hartley. Initially, the long-serving sergeants at the police station, Joe Beck and George Parrish, are sceptical and uneasy about having a female boss; but gradually she earns their respect and admiration.
