Stockard Channing in Just Friends (1979)

After her marriage breaks up, Susan Hughes (Stockard Channing) leaves Boston, Massachusetts for Los Angeles, California, where her matchmaking sister Victoria (Mimi Kennedy) lives. Susan gets a job at a spa run by fit but eccentric Milt D'Angelo (Lou Criscuolo), with Coral (Sydney Goldsmith), a fellow instructor. Her apartment comes with the obligatory wacky neighbor, Leonard Scribner (Gerrit Graham).
