Chronicles the life of a family living in the 13th century French capital, in the kingdom of Saint Louis, with the daily existence of the Brunels, goldsmiths in Paris, especially that of the women and, in particular, of two of them: Mathilde, the mother, thirty-four years old, and Florie, her daughter, fifteen years old, who is getting married.
