Sally Jessy Raphael (1983)

A long-running talk show with a host of the same name. This show was one of the first challengers to Phil Donahue's undisputed rule over the daytime talk world. Raphael's subjects were often more sensational, and were often aimed more at titilation, rather than information. As time went on and shock TV became more popular, Raphael's show thrived while Donahue's faded.
