Hank and Everett are former friends who split after Everett married Gloria, who Hank was also interested in. Reunited for a radio talk show, at a station managed by Julia, their bickering proves to be a ratings bonanza. Ellie and her family are often at her parents Everett and Gloria's house for advice.
