I Witness Video (1992)

A precursor to the later disaster video shows that would become a staple of the Fox network, this program tapped the same vein of do-it-yourself stardom that had made "America's Funniest Home Videos" (1990) so popular. Videos of natural disasters, car chases and crime scenes filmed by amatuers and professionals were presented as 'warnings' of what happens to those who fail to take precautions or heed the law.
