The Montel Williams Show (1991)

Starting in the same year as Jerry Springer's talk show, Montel Williams aimed for the same audience, although using far less explict tactics to draw in viewers. While trying to remain racy, yet dignified, the show failed by not being as extreme as Springer, but also by not being as serious or relevant as Oprah Winfrey.
