From the Earth to the Moon (1998)

A dramatization of NASA's Apollo program: the project whose initial aim was to set foot on the Moon, and get there before the Soviets. We see its origins in the Mercury and Gemini programs and the achievements of those programs, the research, development and testing involved in the Apollo program, the main characters involved, the incidents, the progress made, the first Moon landing and the subsequent missions.
