Joan and Leslie (1956)

The ATV Show Book 1956 has a two page article on the show, it stared real life husband and wife Joan and Leslie Randall and was written by Leslie Randall. Leslie is a lonely hearts columnist and Joan a housewife and the live above Mike's Garage and have a housekeeper who is not named. The article states they were signed up by Lew Grade personally after he saw the first episode of the show to 32 weekly episode worth £7,000 per year.
