Quentin Durgens, M.P. (1966)

Quentin Durgens, M.P. was a CBC Canada television series, which aired on CBC Television from 1965 to 1969. It was one of the first hour-long drama series produced by the CBC, and helped to establish Gordon Pinsent as a major star in Canada. The character Quentin Durgens was a Federally elected Member Of Parliament and the stories revolved around him representing and getting involved in matters that affect the people in his electoral riding who elected him to office. The show was shot on location in Ottawa, Toronto and Moose Falls, Ontario,
