El amor no es como lo pintan (2000)

Alicia Ramírez is a young university student who lives very happily with her father Gerardo, her grandmother María Elena "Mamá Nena," and her little brother Juanito. She is the best student in her class. But when she decides to look for a job in advertising, she is rejected by every boss despite being well-prepared and having a good resume', simply because she is not very attractive. The same thing happens to her in Segovia, where Alberto, the youngest son of agency owner Rolando Segovia, does not want to hire her for the same reason. However, Rolando believes that Alicia is an excellent candidate and hires her without caring about his son's opinion.
