Gall Force: Earth Chapter (1989)

Operation Exodus has been completed and the earth based forces have to survive long enough for reinforcements from Mars. Sandy Newman is facing a challenge along with her squad with a quasi-religious group called the Geo Chris which wants to make the Earth green again.
