These are 8 TV series in which the main character is Maria. The plot traces her participation in the communist armed struggle in Bulgaria in the 30s and 40s of the 20th century. Maria comes from a village in Sofia. She starts working in a factory. She became a member of the Communist Party's militant groups. The battle group that Maria is in kills several people, mostly military men. Maria's friend Dora was caught, tortured, and killed. Maria joins the partisan detachment.
