The Living Bible (1952)

A 26-episode adaptation of the four Gospels by minor studio Family Films. Most of the episodes are devoted to the life of Jesus of Nazareth, while two depict the birth and ministry of John the Baptist. The series avoids depicting most of the violence in the original texts. The series was directed by film and television director Eddie Dew, who had semi-retired from an acting career.
