The Ambulance (1984)

Cult series produced in the 1980s, drawing inspiration from the crucial moments in the history of the Prague emergency medical service between 1956 and 1975. The eleven eventful episodes are a gripping account of the efforts of doctors, paramedics and other emergency service staff who save human lives despite imperfect technological equipment and sometimes even against the will of the patients.
