Dallos (1983)

A story set in the near future. Humanity has nearly exhausted the Earth's natural resources, and its economy currently relies on mining colonies located on the Earth's Moon. The colonists feel mistreated by the decisions of the Earth's Federal Government and a rebellion breaks out. There is a generation gap between the older colonists who were born on Earth, and the younger colonists who were born on the Moon. The younger generation has few ties to Earth and is distrustful of its government.
