Blake et Mortimer (1997)

The series follows the adventures of Philip Mortimer, a leading British scientist, and his friend Captain Francis Blake of MI5, as they battle diabolical masterminds, mad scientists, and their sworn enemy, Colonel Olrik. Their adventures take them into the realms of detective investigation and science-fiction, dealing with such themes as time travel, Atlantis and espionage in a Cold War world. The series is based on the popular Belgian comics series created by Edgar P. Jacobs.
