Most episodes begin with a depiction of murder. There is some occasional blood but rarely if ever is anything graphic shown.

The most graphic murders are only implied. For example, in one episode, a man gets his head crushed by an elephant, but it is off-screen. In another episode, a man is forced into a garbage compactor and is also off-screen, but we do see a lot of blood splatter on the wall.

A woman is discovered hanged.

The occasional "hell" and "damn", and stronger words, like "bitch", "ass" and "bastard", are sometimes (not often) used.

One of the characters uses the phrase "son of a bitch" very often to signify surprise or indignation.
