Bogart was Denmark's most famous film review program. The title sequence referenced "Casablanca", and host Ole Michelsen often wore a Bogart-esque hat and (from 1991) rated the films on a scale of 1 to 5 hats. Michelsen had once worked as an assistant to Jean-Pierre Melville and was famous for an alleged preference for French cinema. The show went through many format changes, but often featured studio interviews and reports from the Cannes festival.
