Storyline:  In 1995 Argentina, Santiago is betrayed by the Lombardo family along with his best friend Marcos, leading to his wrongful imprisonment in Morocco for a crime he did not commit. Ten years later, he returns with a vengeful spirit, seeking revenge against the Lombardos for crimes committed against him, his father and others who opposed them for decades. With a stellar cast, this adaptation of "El conde de Montecristo", full of passion and suffering, was a resounding success and won several awards, including the Martín Fierro de Oro.
