The Daily Apple (2006)

A magazine format series hosted by Retirement Living TV's Lifestyle Gerontologist, Alexis Abramson, The Daily Apple investigates the important wellness issues facing today's senior population. "Wellness" is explored as a fluid idea, not purely relating to physical health but additionally to mental well-being, personal fulfillment, social involvement and other aspects of a well-rounded, mature life. The program encourages an optimistic view of aging in order to support the fundamental belief that seniors who age happier also age healthier. Each episode of The Daily Apple presents ideas and information that seniors can use to make better decisions regarding their future, and perhaps more profoundly, to lead more active, healthy, and satisfying lives.
