In many episodes a crime is being committed on screen. This for example includes beat ups, rape and murder in various forms.

In many episodes there are shootings with blood, but nothing extreme Brutal.

People somke cigarettes, drink alcohol and consume drugs.

Every episode is about a crime that needs to be solved. And as the overall theme of the show is to be realistic and imaginable, many storylines are intense to watch and for some viewers distressing.
