Shilov leaves the authorities and, under contract, works as the head of the security service of a large oil concern, whose enterprises are located in Siberia. Shilov and his new wife Lena have not seen St. Petersburg for several years, and now, after another dangerous misadventure that befell Roman, they finally decide to go home.
