The Chosen One (2023)

Jodie is a young man from Baja California who finds out he has powers that make him look like Jesus: he can turn water into wine, make the crippled walk, and maybe even resurrect the dead. While the town's evangelical and yaqui leaders try to get him to use his powers to save humanity, all Jodie wants to do is impress a girl he likes and stand up to his bullies. Will he respond to his powerful new abilities and this apparent destiny?
