Ji-ae, a slightly dim woman that was once queen of her high school, is followed everywhere by her ugly duckling friend Bong-sun. Years later, Ji-ae is something of a frump, though no brighter, dominated by greed and pettiness. When her husband takes a job at corporate giant, Queen Foods, his boss is none other than the husband of Ji-ae's old tagalong, Bong-sun--now a beautiful swan!
