Emotionally-scarred but technologically-brilliant computer hacker Lisbeth Salander decides to help Mikael Blomkvist, the inquisitive journalist of the radical magazine Millennium, shed light on the unaccountable disappearance of Harriet Vanger who's been missing for 40 long years.
