Whenever sex is shown in movie clips, it is censored.

Clips from certain movies contain scenes of violence, but the review show itself contains relatively none, except for a mild (staged) fistfight between Film Brain and Braeden Orr in the Haunted Mansion review.

Much profanity is used, mostly from Film Brain, though he occasionally bleeps himself using the F-word, except when he's angry. The movie clips shown often contain R-rated language.

Sometimes characters in the movies smoke, drink or do drugs. Film Brain himself may have been seen drinking a few times, albeit fake alcohol, and only for laughs.

He does occasionally review films with controversial material, like Reckoning Day.
