Primera Dama (2010)

Sabina Astudillo comes from a humble and poor background and dreams of day being rich and famous. Tired of being poor, she decides to leave her small town and head to the capital city in search of a better life. This is where she meets Leonardo Santander, presidential candidate and the favorite among the voters. Sabina is ambitious and sets her eyes on him and starts to orchestrate a plan to get close to him and later seduce him. Sabina gets help from Aníbal owner of the theater where she works and Domingo, a stylist who will teach her etiquette and once everything is in place, the plan starts rolling. However, Sabina wasn't expecting to fall in love with Mariano, a young theater director. This is when Sabina feels true love but realizes that in order to get where she wants, love has to be put aside and sacrifices need to be made and breaks up with Mariano. Sabina enters the life of Leonardo and his family, once she wins their trust; one by one they start to fall. Thanks to lies and manipulation, Sabina becomes the First Lady, but behind this accomplishment comes envy, intrigue, and true love are threatening to take away what she accomplished.
