Grassland Champion (1991)

The Grassland Champions is a family drama, adapted from the same name novel by best-selling writer Ben Hu Wang. This is a story about a small place in Taiwan where people work hard to earn a living. It describes the Xiao family. The eldest son has a doctor degree in the United States. The second son is at home and he's a farmer. But the father always favored the eldest son, and ignoring the second. There is an election campaign in town. Candidates and interests in different families, which leads to human dramas. However, the second son has been quietly paying for his family, and the father will change his opinion about him.
