'Child Snatchers' features the stories of nine courageous and determined parents and is guaranteed to raise awareness of a subject steeped in stereotypes. Fronted by respected newspaper columnist (The Sun) and broadcaster Jane Moore, Child Snatchers follows the chaos and heartbreak that occurs when a parent takes the law into their own hands. This series was made in conjunction with Reunite International Child Abduction Centre, which provides advice, information and support to parents, family members and guardians who have had a child abducted or who fear their child may be abducted. Each episode features three compelling cases of abduction. Such as the case of Belinda Chapman Serce who has spent the last three heartbreaking years fighting to get her son back after her ex husband smuggled him out of Britain in the back of a truck when he was only 4 years old. Or Josephine Bromley a Lancashire mum who is struggling to cope after her Jordanian ex husband snatched her two daughters Noor and Salam taking them to The Middle East in 2001. The series also features a number of reunions such as a Huddersfield mother, Andrea Annat who meets her two children for the first time after 21 years.
