Almost Famous (2012)

The show focuses on the world of actors 'filled with lies' through the residents of Cihangir, which is one of Istanbul's most cosmopolitan neighborhoods. The first few episodes are mostly about the cultural and generational differences between two neighbor families: actors taking part in a second-quality TV series, and a traditional Turkish family. Later in the series, the complicated and funny relationships of the whole neighborhood are shown. The show portrays the very common east vs west and tradition vs modernity conflicts in Turkey in an entertaining and sincere way.
