The Nephilim Chronicles (2014)

Detective Julius Barnes is one of the ancient Nephilim, a race of human-angel hybrids. When college student Sandra wakes up to find that her roommate Jackie has died in her sleep, Julius decides that Jackie's death was not from natural causes. She has become the latest victim of the Mare, a creature as old as humanity itself. The Mare gives her prey nightmares and feeds on their fear, killing them in the process. Can Julius stop the Mare before Sandra also falls victim to the Mare's hunger?
