Popular wisdom tells that, years ago, nature thrived in harmony around Lake Patzcuaro and its islands, until evil appeared. Men, blinded by dark desires, brought fear, hatred, and death. Fishermen know her as 'La Miringua', who drags and drowns in the lake for your sins. This dark reimagining is inspired by a legend from the rural folklore of the Mexican state of Michoacán.
