A space. Something that eludes many. Somewhere to call 'home'. In the early 70's and 80's, for those tremendous talents of the black diaspora that sought out the sunny climbs of Los Angeles California, finding a space outside the hustle was a gift in itself. A space to let your hair down. A space to get your stock up. A space, where the black congregation of Hollywood deemed 'a refuge'. Poinsettia Park became the safe haven that they deserved. For a time and a space, that one place seemed to be the center of it all. Watch as the stories are retold from those that experienced the heights of 'The Park'. Poinsettia was the mecca.
