Mein Freund Beuys (2023)

"Mein Freund Beuys" is a biography of the Saarland artist Claude Jaté. The film tells the story of different stages of the schizophrenic painter's life, his love, important acquaintances and life's hard struggle with a disease that causes chaos in his mind. He finds mastery in art and a new passion arouses in him. The film shows the ups and downs of the artist, whose life takes place far from fame and glory.
