Bako (2023)

Driven by the prospect of pulling themselves out of poverty with a "big score", four friends; Kuda, Tanaka, Simon and Peter, venture into an abandoned mine in search of the largest recorded gold deposits ever. After a short search for the elusive Mermaid Mine, they find their big score...as well as what looks like an ancient burial site. One of them gets greedy and robs the grave, triggering a cave-in and killing his brother. The surviving trio find themselves trapped underground in a labyrinth of tunnels and caves while being pursued by a murderous, supernatural creature.
