Part I: Not a single square meter shall be given away. The year was 1955. Saburô's philosophy in life was "Stealing what belongs to the Americans is a war result." Saburô and his friend Kiyoshi were scouring the area around the base when they came across Wataru, who is half-black boy, and his sister Tomoko. The forced confiscation of the Hirakawa village due to the expansion of the U.S. military base began with the firing of warning shots. Furugen and his resistance fighters put their bodies on the line to resist. However, as military exercises began, machine gun bullets from fighter planes hit Tomoko's grandmother Kamado. Part II: The Island of Wrath. Ten years have passed since then. Saburô and his father, Kandô, are working at the U.S. military base, Tomoko is in the dollar smuggling business, and Wataru is working as a military truck driver. One day, Saburô and Tomoko are asked by a U.S. Army sergeant to redeem mock bombs and shell casings. Tomoko took the opportunity to buy them, surprising Saburo with her guts. Kandô was injured in his leg and was fired from his job. The anger of the military workers eventually developed into a strike struggle, which the U.S. suppressed out of prestige.
