In a community ruled by a wealthy and charismatic leader encouraging his followers to pursue extreme subjectivist beliefs, two girls are put to death for their heretical realism only to return as revenant beings who confront the community with the intent of waking them from what they view as a spell of deceptive consciousness ... but they soon develop a blood lust.
